IEC's Training Institute

IEC has established a training institute to ensure that our training is always focused and effective. We rely on training programs developed and implemented in-house as well as those from external sources including area colleges and universities. IEC employees attend classes for many reasons. Among the most important is certification and recertification in such areas as solderability and machine operating. The training institute enables employees to improve and heighten their skills.

IEC's training covers all essential technical, and manufacturing training needs in depth. We also provide training in customer service, communication, problem solving, meeting skills, cost analysis, leadership, empowerment, team building, safety, computer skills and more. Our training programs are focused on the goal of achieving and going beyond Six Sigma quality levels. The guiding principles of Total Quality Management are also the backbone of IEC's training program.

IEC's instructors are resident experts in the topics they are teaching. To prepare them as instructors, they will attend "Train the Trainer" and "Communication Skills", these classes make up an instructor certification program.

Classes and programs are administered to employees at all facilities. IEC has also supplied training and training materials to our customers, upon request.
