IEC's test engineers are also experienced in RF. Previous projects have included satellite TV receivers in L-Band (DSS predecessor), wireless LAN based devices with GPS, CATV components, direct digital synthesizers of up to 8 Ghz and flextags used in measuring shipment efficiency. Test equipment utilized for RF projects include network analyzers, S-parameter test sets, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and transmission analyzers. IEC gives our customers a "Design for Testability Review". The goal of this checklist is to provide: the ability to electrically isolate during ICT; an electrically stable environment; and a high percentage of access for bed-of-nails.
